As a FCIM, I am a senior marketer with over 20 years' marketing management experience in B2B dynamic technology and related financing environments, and beyond - from agile SMBs to industry-leading multinationals. I love translating vision into action and value-add. Therefore, I thrive in organisations of all sizes where I can work with key stakeholders to identify and prioritise business requirements in order to define marketing strategy, multi-channel communications, branding and campaign planning. My proudest achievements (apart from motherhood obviously) has been this recently: Pre-pandemic, I approached an award-winning social enterprise - which has been running pop-up shops across the Thames Valley supporting local craftspeople and artisans by allowing them to sell their beautiful handmade products - to allow me to set up a branch in Windsor. Delayed by matters COVID, they took the leap of faith and we opened up in April 2021 - creating a fabulous shop and art gallery on a shoestring with a team of passionate likeminded contributors. This shop has over the last year become a vibrant social hub attracting locals and visitors alike, rebuilding normality after the pandemic and recognising the importance of community. And now, the next chapter begins.... a bittersweet one as due to the tragic, unexpected death of the wonderful Deborah Jones (cofounder of the Craft Coop), I find myself stepping into her role as FInance and Ops Director. Huge shoes to fill. I am currently suffering a little from imposter syndrome - but look forward to building out the next era of Craft Coop with the support of the Artistic Director, Teresa Mills, our great team of shop managers and the wonderful 100+ Coopers, without whom none of this would be possible... My secret sauce? I'm a people person with an infectious drive to get the job done properly, making a real difference and transforming how people feel about their themselves and their organisation.
