As a HR Customer Service Representative, I was able to participate in the establishment of Baylor's askHR Customer Service Center. Our Customer Service team focused on internal processes, customer service skills and focus, and attention to detail through data entry. In this position I was responsible for answering applicant questions regarding employment opportunities and employee questions regarding benefits, retirement, and various human resources topics. I created and processes new hire paperwork packets and entered benefit paperwork into the Banner system. The Customer Service team was responsible for answering the askHR email, greeting and helping walk-in visitors, and answer customer calls while capturing the information into a ticketing system called Heat.
