Heidi possesses a unique perspective gleaned from her extensive knowledge in the convenience service industry and having served for over 30 years as Chief Executive Officer for numerous organizations, including The Wittern Group, a third generation, family-owned company. These experiences have provided the basis for her conviction that a company’s success starts with the success of its customers. As such, she strives to ensure the customer is always first within any organization is a part of. She believes a company’s employees are its greatest asset and her objective is to foster a culture that is built upon honesty, diversity, integrity, and empowerment.Heidi is an experienced Board member, having served on the Board of Junior Achievement of Central, Drake University, and the YPO Iowa Chapter. Currently, she is a board member of The Wittern Group, National Vending, Legacy Materials, and the Des Moines Cold Storage. Heidi has been very active in the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA). She has served as Chairperson as the first woman, as well as held several leadership positions within the Association including as a member of the Board of Directors, Government Affairs Committee, Women in the Industry (WIN), NAMA Executive Committee, and NAMA Foundation.
