I worked in a full stack role managing a web portal, auth server, and APIs on both the front and back end of things. I am also a founding member of a productivity tool for managing software releases utilizing the Slack API as well as a lightweight webhook application that consumes from a message queue.I help diagnose and triage outages when they occur and participate in post-mortems and participate in Scrum ceremonies. I write unit tests, integration tests, and automated UI tests.Most of the code I write is in PHP, Python, and JavaScript with a little bit of Go here and there. I also use React in my front end work quite often.

I worked on a small team of engineers developing a cloud-based video quality monitoring solution in AWS. I mostly focused on the UI using Ember.js and Node libraries and have had a few tasks working on the RESTful API in Golang as well.

I worked on a team of 3 student developers plus a team lead/mentor on an open-source Python software library that takes remote-sensing data taken from AVIRIS (Airborne Visible/Infrared Imaging Spectrometer) and classifies each pixel as a type of mineral or land-cover, isolates each pixel that contains mining waste, and associates mining waste with vector data. The case study we worked on identified mining waste near Waterflow, NM and identified mining waste that was close to bodies of water. This was worked on as part of the Oregon State University Senior Capstone program.

I was a teaching assistant for CS 160, CS 161, and CS 162. They are introductory programming classes mostly taught in C++. I guided students on their programming labs and offered help on assignments as well as graded assignments and quizzes.
