Responsibilities include but are not limited to; organizing over two hundred vendors and artists setup and tear down at the Tampa Convention Centers West Hall. Leading a small team of dedicated individuals to provide the best customer service to vendors and artists as well as clients of the convention itself. Part of the weekend includes monitoring the hall for code compliance and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Keeping meticulous notes on the back end system and logging any complaints, compliments, and changes when they arise. Constant communication with the CEO of the status of the room is paramount.

My responsibilities include teaching reading/language arts to fourth-grade students with mild to moderate learning differences such as ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, processing disorders and anxiety. I create a culture that promotes excellence in the classroom by using research-based techniques including Kagan skills, executive functioning improvement practices, and multi-sensory methodology that engage all students' learning styles while adhering to Common Core standards. Throughout my years at Tampa Day School, I have designed personalized curriculum and instruction for multiple grade levels to meet the unique needs of the students we service while differentiating to the entire ability spectrum. I also continue to promote positive social interactions as an integral part of a "total child" education.

While in Hillsborough County Public schools, I have worked as a resource teacher at Bellamy Elementary School who served ESE students in pull-in and pull-out settings. Coached other teachers as a PLC facilitator, PSLT member CST member and many other committees including SAC and PTA. Collaborated with the reading coach, speech/language pathologist, general education teachers, ESE teachers and others. Continuing in Hillsborough county I have also been a blended ESE / general education classroom Kindergarten teacher at Twin Lakes Elementary. I worked closely with students’ case manager, speech/language teacher, social worker, school psychologist, parents, and ESOL resource teacher.

I specialized in pull-out and inclusion setting reading groups. Taught special needs children in grades K, 2, 3, and 4. Students' disabilities ranged and included autism spectrum disorder, specific learning disabilities, language impaired and behavioral disorders such as ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder. Administrated accommodated testing, including FCAT, common assessments and SAT 10. At Shore Acres, I also taught 3rd Grade program with the objective of taking students who have hurdles preventing them from doing their best and placing them in a smaller group setting with set interventions and positive thinking. This particular program helps struggling students get back on track and graduate on time and reduce the possibility of dropping out of school due to previous retentions.
