In this position as Assistant Store Manager I worked alongside the store manager merchandising the store; reached targets for the monthly sales budget, helped organize rosters and day to day duties of running a retail store. I learnt the importance of the timely arrival of products and the impact delayed production can have on consumers. I used my time management and organizational skills to make the running of the store most efficient.

I applied the skills I learnt at University to undertake pattern making, sample cutting, organizing trims and bundling cuts. I also spent some time in the retail shops of Taylor in Auckland and Wellington.
