I have worked as a speech-language pathologist in various school districts locally and throughout the east coast for the past 20 years. Most recently, I worked as a Regional SLP via teletherapy. During that time, I have gained valuable experience in the area of teletherapy and I have developed a passion for ensuring that all students have access to the educational services they need, regardless of their location or situation. In my role as a Regional SLP, I have had the opportunity to be the first point of contact for newly contracted school districts, and I enjoyed introducing these districts to the teletherapy model. This position has required me to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with new school districts which requires good communication skills, problem solving abilities, and the capability to adapt to many different personality styles. I also enjoyed working with the sales team to bring in new contracts and advocate for teletherapy as a valuable delivery service model. I am looking to transfer into a non-clinical role that continues to allow me to assist children with disabilities.
