My main tasks at the Embassy of Finland in Pretoria was to monitoring the political and economic environment in South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho and Mauritius. During my employment, I assisted in the preparations of two ministerial visits from Finland to South Africa, including drafting background documentation and planning of the programme of the visit.Moreover, I planned and organized trade promotion events and activities for Finnish companies, represented the Embassy at various meetings and made a social media strategy and action plan.

I was working at the Unit for Fundraising and Communications and assisted in the fundraising campaign during the Christmas season. This included managing and allocating private donations, drafting press releases and taking care of donor communications.

I drafted background documents and speeches for the UNGA High Level Weeks. Moreover, I assisted in hosting visits and planning and organizing events. I also worked with mediation matters, 3rd national action plan on 1325-resolution (Women, Peace and Security) and Finland's campaign for Unesco's Executive Board.

My role was to support effective design, planning, implementation and management of UNFPA activities in the area of communications and positioning of messaging on Women’s Reproductive Health and Young people in Lao PDR.I created a communications and digital marketing strategy and action plan for the country office to guide all the communication and marketing efforts.I worked in collaboration with the adolescent team and together we developed a concept note on building the economic assets of adolescent girls. I supported and operationalized the campaign through different media channels.My tasks also included drafting of reports, press releases and advocacy materials. I designed, produced and distributed communications and advocacy materials such as fact sheets, brochures, policy briefs, human stories, videos, photographs etc. I also prepared and organized advocacy events, such as the first national family planning conference and took care of the national and international media outreach.
