I work with governments, international development agencies, NGOs and private businesses to improve fisheries policy, management, infrastructure, and supporting services to support natural resource exploitation which minimises environmental impacts and maximises socio-economic benefits. As Technical Director and then Managing Director of the internationally recognised fisheries & aquaculture consultancy firm MacAlister Elliott & Partners (MEP), I led the development and delivery of high-quality services and solutions to support sustainability improvements across multiple sectors, across the globe.I’m an accomplished Director / Team leader, able to create, lead and support diverse teams, monitor and mitigate risks, design and manage budgets, to successfully deliver outputs with positive impact.Having established my own independent consultancy business (Njord Consulting Ltd) I continue to provide pragmatic and best practice advice and recommendations on fisheries supply chain due diligence, management and policy.
