Heidi Hackett leads Sales & Marketing departments to include both Hotels and Restaurants in a company’s portfolio. She graduated from University of Pittsburgh Technical Institute majoring in Travel and Tourism. Heidi has over 20 years in Sales & Marketing expertise within multiple segments of the travel industry. She has led sales teams to produce record breaking revenues, which resulted in consecutive years as a “Presidents Club” recipient. Her experience expands from managing a full service travel agency, with hospitality sales experience in limited service hotels, restaurants, independently owned hotels, and full service hotels that include banquet space of over 10,000 square feet. Heidi’s passion is sales. Sales:Heidi practices a very aggressive sales program within each managed property. Heidi “inspects what she expects”. Heidi develops individual marketing plans and over see’s their execution. She negotiates media purchases with vendors to ensure the best value for allotted marketing dollars. Heidi has experience developing and executing pre and post marketing plans for new openings. She assists in press releases, or any community related public relations, and Social media. Heidi also takes an active role to ensure the e-commerce marketing is up to date and accurate. Heidi manages online third party relationships to help with placement, booking promotions and online guest reviews. Heidi is an active member of seven Chamber of Commerce’s in the Syracuse area. She holds a board position with Syracuse CVB. Heidi also is a member of Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International, Holiday Inn Hotels of Upstate NY (board position), Greater Syracuse Hospitality Tourism Association (GSHTA), and New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association (NYSHTA).
