I am experienced, and recognised British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accreditted Integrative counsellor. I work with older adults, adults, young people and children.Private PracticeWorking within the bacp ethical framework of good practise.I work with clients who present with a wide range of difficulties and issues which include depression, relationship struggle, loss and bereavement, life stages, low self esteem and abuse.I provide assessments and can assist in referrals to specialised services if necessary. I am dedicated to on going professional development and attend monthly CPD to keep my research and knowledge annually revised and updated where needed.SupervisionI supervise qualified and student counsellors both in private practise and external organisations. I provide individual and group supervision within these settings. I provide assessment and reports for students counsellors in training. Alongside termly reports of development to organisations improving ethical services to the public sector.My aim is to provide a safe, ethical and supporting container for therapists to explore, experience and develope their practise further. To compliment my supervision practice I regularly attend one to one supervisory supervision and peer supervisory once a month to ensure ethical practices can be maintained and upheld throughout all therapeutic relationships under my care.Training & WorkshopsI have developed and presented a range of workshops to companies, local authorities and schools specialising mainly in children and young people. These include, Depression, Anxiety, Low Self Esteem, Anti-Bullying, Bereavement Metaphors and Inner Child Work.
