About Heidi Larkin
I am trained as a pharmacologist specialized in molecular and cellular biology, with an expertise in confocal microscopy, immunostaining and lysosomal storage diseases. To complement my research and leadership skills, I also completed a Project Management Certificate program at HEC Montréal, in addition to a postdoc at Laval University. In 2016, I joined Parallex BioAssays as Scientific Director to work on the development and commercialization of a new microarray-to-microarray approach, the SnapChip. I was responsible for SnapChip development, optimization and production as well as Parallex BioAssays’ representation in business events, and Web development.In 2019, I joined Raspberry Scientific Inc as Chief Scientific Officer and I'm now Vice President Science. Raspberry Scientific is a start-up company of serological diagnosis in R&D phase, incubated in the business accelerator ACET of Sherbrooke University.
