If there was a problem with their mobile phone, I would research the issue and go to another computer system to fix it.There was an issue that a customer had called in to find out why her bill was so high. The moment I had looked at her bill, I had realized what had happened. The customer had pro-rated charges on her bill and no one had explained to her what her first bill was going to have on it. So I told the customer, the reason her bill was so high, was there were pro-rated charges on it for the first month. She was upset and I told her I would get them taken off for her. The result, at the end of the phone call, the customer was pleased with the service that was provided and she told me that I was the best customer service representative she had. She told me that I stayed on the phone until the issue was resolved.The position prepared me for future positions by helping me learn how to provide great customer service to customers in the way of communication, as a result, I can now provide excellent customer service to everyone I come into contact with. -

In 1966, the coeducational undergraduate Evening College was founded. In 1968, as part of its mission to serve the State and particularly the Lowcountry, The Citadel initiated graduate degree programs. As an office clerk, my role is to make sure customers and cadets that drop their clothes off for cleaning, get excellent customer service as well as their clothes tagged and put in the right bin to get washed.My responsibilities include checking the customer or cadets in utilizing a computer, and printing a reciept out for them. Then the clothing they dropped off is tagged, inspected, and put in the appropriate bin for washing. When they come out of the wash, I then look at the tag and put items together for bagging. So when the customer or cadet comes back for their clothing I find it, and check them out using either their one card, debit, credit card, or cash. Making sure I give them a reciept for their payment.I made a suggestion to my co-workers about putting the clothes on the turn-wheel after bagging and when we are not to busy we do that. If we are, we just put them on the bar that is beside the turn-wheel.I feel like this is close to what I would really like to do in a job, so I will work really hard and get everything right and try to look for an office position which is my passion. -
