Oversaw a team of fifteen counselors (two K-8 Counselors, ten College Counselors, and five 6-12 Academy Counselors) in their daily work to provide personalized support to over 3,000 students.

•Led a team of two researchers, two editors, a project manager, and four writers, to create web-based content (articles, infographics, and interactive quizzes) for high school students and their families.•Identified relevant topics for high school centered content, strategizing the most impactful means of delivering the information to users. •Conducted qualitative and quantitative analyses of varying subjects in education, incorporating educational experience and publicly available resources.•Created comprehensive research reports on specific issues impacting secondary school students and their families pursuing both college and non-college paths.•Collaborated with the creative and production teams to design infographics and select images to maximize user appeal while maintaining the content’s integrity.•Reviewed published content for accuracy, tone, voice, and grammar.

•Supported a caseload of approximately 400 students with academic, career, and personal/social concerns.•Conducted individual meetings with juniors to discuss college plans and next steps.•Advised senior students on college and financial aid applications.•Facilitated classroom presentations for students on a variety of topics, ranging from academic success skills to college readiness and career exploration.•Ensured all students met graduation criteria and worked with students and families to develop plans for those students not on track to graduate.•Managed 504 plans for approximately 30 students within my caseload. •Responded to social/emotional crises using a solution focused approach.•Managed the school’s College and Career Center, organizing and implementing programming for the other counselors, students, families, and teachers around various post-graduate options and pathways.

•Developed and oversaw the implementation of 9th and 10th Grade College Readiness curriculums, delivering weekly lessons focusing on personal/social development, enhancing academic habits, and career exploration, and meeting individually with all students at least twice throughout the year.•Planned financial aid family nights and supported students and families with financial aid applications (CSS Profiles, and FAFSA).•Supported teachers with Letters of Recommendation through individual meetings and Letter of Recommendation writing workshops.•Served as the campus Registrar, responsible for scheduling all students, handling all schedule change requests, initiating student request process, and creating room schedule.•Systematized the scheduling process to increase efficiency of scheduling and streamline processes for future registrar.•Audited all transcripts and met with students in academic peril to create graduation plans.•Planned and delivered professional development related to College Access Team goals, including sessions on Working with Undocumented Students and College Fit.

•Orchestrated implementation of the school's testing program, including organizing and facilitating CMAS, PARCC, WIDA ACCESS, ACT Aspire, ACT, PSAT, Advanced Placement, Achievement Network, and internal midterm/final exams and ensuring eligible students received the appropriate accommodations.•Collaborated with the Special Education Department Lead to ensure that the school complied with Individualized Education Plans and that students needs were met.•Managed the implementation of a Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS), using data to identify and track students performing below grade level in reading and/or math and working with teachers to create and evaluate support plans where necessary.•Coached eight teachers from the Special Education, Spanish, and Art departments through observations and debriefs focusing on bite-sized and actionable feedback to increase instructional impact.•Served on the Instructional Leadership Team, identifying quarterly instructional priorities to support and develop all teachers.•Analyzed and summarized student data points, including grades, attendance, discipline data, and standardized test scores, to share with teachers.•Supported with the course registration process, helping students with academic planning as well as working on the technical side to ensure course selections were appropriate and schedules accurately reflected student needs.•Planned and delivered professional development on core management practices.•Contributed to hiring decisions through candidate interviews and by providing feedback on sample lessons.
