I work to deliver results outlined in contractual agreements by providing education in the hospitals for nursing and leadership staff, partnering to develop internal and public awareness about the importance of tissue donation. I provide support to improve processes and policies that ensure individuals and families have the opportunity to give the gift of life.

Work with large groups in downtown Seattle to ensure the supply of blood and blood products needed by the community at all times through the development and maintenance of effective relationships with various donor groups. Serve as the primary contact with the community.Responsible for developing and managing relationships, actively recruiting new groups, providing ongoing education to donors and community groups, creating accurate blood donation projections for donor participation to meet blood and blood product needs, ensuring staffing and scheduling needs are met and communicated appropriately, recording accurate and thorough data, working with accounts to plan for and successfully host blood drives and providing creative ideas and marketing strategies to grow and develop new and existing blood drives. Additionally serve as a Bloodworks Northwest liaison and representative at community outreach initiatives.

Managed a dynamic advocacy based volunteer program with more than 250 volunteers. Planned and executed multiple signature events annually, including a 5K run/walk, donor family remembrance event and volunteer appreciation events. I additionally orchestrated volunteer participation in approximately 100 community based advocacy programs and outreach opportunities annually throughout Colorado and Wyoming.

Lead recreational to intermediate co-ed cycling rides throughout the year in the Denver Metro area. Rides were 20-65 miles in length. Position required route finding, managing safety, sending out email reminders, blogging ride recaps and on occasion special events.I additionally established and lead an intermediate women’s specific cycling group during summer months for two years. Created a following with more than 150 riders in less than 3 months.
