As a State Examination Nurse at TMU, I co administer and evaluate the state board examinations for certified nursing assistant students. I have a Master of Science in Nurse Education from Chamberlain University, and I am proficient in Canvas System Navigation and Course Building. I also have over 9 years of experience as an Adjunct Nursing Instructor at Chippewa Valley Technical College, where I teach various courses in the nursing program. Before becoming an educator, I worked as a Registered Nurse at Dove Healthcare for 12 years, holding different positions such as rehab nurse, supervisor, and MDS coordinator. My core competencies include nursing education, curriculum development, assessment, quality improvement, and patient care. I am passionate about advancing the nursing profession and preparing the next generation of nurses with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the healthcare field.
