I provide bi-weekly classroom lessons to grades K-6. Lessons focus on the six pillars of Character Counts as well as real life strategies for dealing with anger, anxiety, bullies and other problems facing today's youth. Once each month I hold a school-wide assembly to introduce a topic and to recognize students who are exemplifying the kind of character we teach and expect. I also see students individually and in small groups by student, parent or teacher request. Students with social needs often meet in a "friendship group" setting to learn and practice proper social interaction.

I have taught music to a variety of grade levels from K-12. My assignment currently includes: JH/HS band, 7-8 Choir, HS Choir and Advanced Choir.
