I am a self-employed artist. I make quilts for fine art and fine living. My website is HeidiParkes.com

I teach yoga, meditation, and pilates at Gaenslen in the evenings. Classes are on an 8 week cycle.

I teach gentle yoga noon-1 on Thursday’s. It’s an active, but accessible class.

I was an a art teacher. Responsible for teaching art at a high school in many mediums including: Introductory art classes, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, drawing, painting, printmaking, computer graphics, fiber art, and photography. I developed curriculum, led collaborative projects, displayed art, submitted art to competitions, presented at the Illinois Art Education Association Conferences, and created permanent works of art for the school.

I created works of art by handbulding, wheel throwing, and glazing. I helped organize the studio, maintained a clean work environment, aided in the development of new projects, and assisted Laurie in many ways.

I took tickets, aided patrons to their seats, and enjoyed watching the productions.
