Working in the Certification Team my role varies from day to day, it has given me great insight into how accreditation schemes work and how they should be managed. The integrity of the scheme is paramount along with ensuring it is fair and sustainable for future growth. Leading my teams to success with a supportive and growth mindset, by setting team objectives that link to the organisations overall strategy but also align with their own development requirements.Built and maintained relationships with internal and external providers of goods and or services, to ensure clarity on expectations and the best possible service is provided.Overseeing the entire IT infrastructure to ensure it is fit for purpose, growth and aligns with future goals.Increased and optimised the output of teams and individuals by utilising SME's in their areas to build new and upgrade current processes and procedures within their teams. This in turn helped them grow and develop as individuals and teams.I have successfully transitioned three of our functions from an internal resource to an external partnership, ensuring that we fully utilise our current colleagues and gain skills and expertise for the functions, the largest being a Google Migration project. These required full change management plans, project and programme management along with building new and lasting relationships.Built the confidence of individuals in my direct care and the wider teams, by challenging their thinking, allowing them to make mistakes, supporting them in challenging times and with challenging conversations, along with praising and recognising them and their teams for all the wins (no matter how small).Mentoring those in my direct reporting lines along with others from across the business. This has allowed colleagues to grow and support their own functions more effectively.Conduct thorough investigations relating to farmed animals through to conclusions at RSPCA Assured.
