This season performing with orchestras including Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, Eclipse Chamber Orchestra, Smithsonian Chamber Music Society, National Philharmonic, The Richmond Symphony, Bel Cantanti Opera, and others, at leading venues including the Kennedy Center, Washington National Cathedral, National Museum of Natural History, Music Center at Strathmore and more. Tours include Annapolis Symphony tour of Spain (Summer 2022), Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performances at Carnegie Hall (Spring 2013), World Symphony Orchestra tour of South Korea (Autumn 2009). Heidi is excited to join the Bellingham Music Festival in Summer 2024.

Coach weekly viola sectionals with three intermediate ensembles, create lessons that communicate the musical goals and benchmarks of the DCYOP curriculum, coordinate and cooperate with Program Manager in keeping track of DCYOP students’ attendance and musical progress.

Led team of 12 of board members and staff to ensure smooth and continuous operations of one of the region’s oldest cooperative preschools. Maintained parent handbook, member of annual budget committee, worked with the executive team to reopen successfully in Fall 2020. During the 2020-2021 academic year, served as Public Relations coordinator; duties included web maintenance, social media content creation and posting, advertisement creation and publicity.

Managed all aspects of preschool admissions and enrollment, planned and coordinated Open House events, main point of contact for prospective families, collaborated with Public Relations Chair to market all admissions events. Converted application process to online platform, initiated a system for long-term tracking applications, matriculation, and demographics.

Taught private lessons and group classes to 40 children enrolled at Alexander Elementary School. Supported Campbell Young Leaders’ mission of providing instruments and instruction to students in Title I schools in the Greenville County School District.

Provided box office support to RPO patrons, responded to patron/customer calls and emails. Ascertained and resolved customer concerns, requests, troubleshooted customer issues on site during performances. Assisted patrons during annual subscription renewal.

Worked closely with both the Executive Director and the Program Manager to create a system for evaluating the arts in education programs administered by that organization. Duties also included managing the group of auditors and keeping a database of their program evaluations.
