Heidi practices in most areas of commercial disputes and Court procedure. In particular her practice focuses on financial litigation, professional negligence matters, commercial and contractual disputes of varying complexity and size and partnership disputes.

Elected as vice chair in July 2008 to become chair the following year. Developing JLD policy and positions on member issues and assisting with development of member events and benefits.

Following the merger of the Trainee Solicitor Group and Young Solicitors Group in Leeds in July 2008 I was elected as the first chair of the Leeds JLD. I chaired a volunteer committee of 10 committee members. The group organised social and sports events along with skills and training seminars for our members. I also represented the groups interests to the national committee in my capacity as national vice chair.

Member of the committee responsible for re-establishing the Young Solicitors Group in Leeds. Involved with organising social and careers events, developing member benefits and database. I also maintained the groups financial accounts. In 2008 part of the working party to co-ordinate the merger of the group with the trainee solicitors group locally.
