I have worked in healthcare at Mayo Clinic for the past 28 years and have a variety of experience to offer. I chose to pursue my Health Care Management degree to increase my knowledge in Project Management and overall compliance and management work in the future. Health care and compliance is innovative and fascinating to me and I hope to grow my career in this field. I have a strong background in clinical research and regulatory management. I currently work as a Compliance Coordinator in the Cancer Center, conducting internal audits and managing NCI and Clinicaltrial.gov registrations and maintenance. I started working as a Project Assistant for Practice Convergence in July 2012, after completing my degree. My position title was changed to Practice Convergence Coordinator August 2013. I work with Project Managers and Administrators across the Mayo Enterprise to coordinate projects coming forward for approval. I organize the Agendas for Practice Convergence Council Meetings, Facilitate Agenda Planning, Manage overall Practice Convergence budget with Subcommittee Secretaries, Manage project list coming forward for approval and colaborate with practice administrator on day to day issues.
