I serve as a resource for the employee benefit programs. These programs include group life insurance, medical and dental insurances, long term and short term disability insurances, 401k and ESOP. I conduct new employee orientation to ensure new employees gain an understanding of our benefit plans. I serve as the contact person to resolve benefit inquires. I conduct annual open enrollment benefit huddles and communicate any benefit changes for the next year. I strive to ensure employee understanding of benefit programs by regularly educating employees. I maintain benefit documentation including changes and general correspondence. I process all insurance changes and cancellations. I process monthly insurance bills and review for accuracy. I serve as the COBRA resource and Flex Plan Administrator. I file employee Workers’ Compensation claims. I am responsible for the annual Affirmative Action Plan, EEO and Vets 100 reporting. I assist in the development and implementation of the Merchants Wellness Program. I assist the HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects.

Loaded daily ACH files, emailed or called customers to verifiy that their ACH totals were correct. Made corrections to ACH files when needed. Recorded all backup tapes and prepared the tapes to go offsite. Burned DVD's and CD's with customers statements on them. Printed laser checks and recorded all checks that were prined. Made sure daily that all bank locations were balanced.
