I participated in studies and projects related to electricity markets and European market integration, e.g. cost assessment of internal congestion management, feasibility study of Nordic-Baltic balancing market integration and preparation of European network codes.

I was expert secretary for the Finnish smart grid working group that suggested concrete measures to improve opportunities for the customers to participate in electricity markets and to improve security of supply in a cost-efficient manner. The working group consisted of 21 members representing policy makers, regulators, TSO, DSOs, small and large.
