Before my current career path I thought I was the 'Software Jinx'. I had a knack of breaking computer systems regularly during my everyday activities. I thought this was a curse. Then I discovered Testing is a career!Since then I've spent time learning many testing approaches and applying them in my various roles climbing from a Test Analyst up to Test Team Lead, and now Principal Test Consultant of my own company Squirrels Rock! I'm driven to make using software intuitive and efficient. A happy client makes for a happy Tester. I love mentoring my team and the Developers I work with. Quality is a shared goal. With technology waiting for no one I've had to keep pace with mobile device and tablet testing, on prem and cloud solutions, Add ins, BOTs, Apps and the Internet of Things. I've had to become a little bit geeky to keep up with emerging infrastructures like Containers and to wrap my head around automated testing. In addition to breaking software; processes and functionality documentation is something I excel at and enjoy. I love working with the subject matter experts to extract the process and the purpose, then breaking this down into documentation to help companies scale, outsource or get a greater visibility of their processes.
