I have 30 years experience in Web Development with a background in marketing that includes advertising, direct mail, copywriting, design, photography, product marketing and Internet marketing. When building Web sites I apply World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards, semantic HTML mark-up, and search engine optimization techniques to ensure a stable browsing experience--and increased "findability"--on a variety of platforms. In packaging and arranging the content I pay close attention to navigation so that visitors can easily find whatever information they are seeking. I apply similar concepts to social media. In developing social media plans I find it is important to establish measurable goals, research where one's audience spends time online, then meet them there on their terms.
