I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Seattle Children's Research Institute investigating how immunotherapies impact kidney health and recovery in autoimmune diseases.My current research uses spatial transcriptomics and spectral flow cytometry to better understand how the immune response changes in kidney diseases such as lupus nephritis. In my previous role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, I conducted cutting-edge research on the role of lymphatics in response to kidney injury models and their implications for the immune response in disease progression. I have over 10 years of experience in biomedical research, with a focus on cardiovascular, renal, and immunological aspects of health and disease. I have a PhD in Medical Sciences, a graduate certificate in Forensic DNA and Serology, and a BS in Molecular Biology.I am a skilled leader, communicator, excellent writer, and self-motivated professional who is passionate about advancing science and health care. I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals and presented my findings at national and international conferences.
