Mi Mapa is a personal journey towards your Destiny, your Calling and the Work You Were Born To BeIn 2017 I resigned from a position of trust in the Puerto Rico Government. I eventually took an entire year off to decide what my next step would be. In the process I took a backpack and travelled to Cambodia and lived with a very humble and kind family for 40 days. This experience changed my life. Everything I thought I was, I was not. Every walk I took led me to that inner place where I discovered my calling. Inspired in this voyage I decided to create the Mi Mapa Virtual Experience to share with you the exercises, reflections and teachings of my personal journey, focused into helping you discover yours. You now have the opportunity of creating your own map and letting it speak to you and allowing your purpose to unfold.We live in a chaotic world and every day, businesses demands more of our time. Some people have been taught to believe that stress and physical exhaustion is part of what the job brings, but what about life? Hello, I am Heidie Rosado Nieves. In 2003 I opened the first Coaching Company in Puerto Rico. As I defied the non believers I embarked in a journey accompanying thousands of professionals to discover their NEXT BIG STEP. Ive been blessed to have worked with professionals located in Puerto Rico, United States, Europe and Asia. I can see what they cannot see, I can hear what they cannot hear and I can help them connect to what they are feeling, envisioning and desiring. We were all born to do something greater in this world and every step of our career leads us towards that path. There I learned to identify the talents, gifts, marketability and values a candidate brought to the table, and believe me...they were not visible on their resumes. Puerto Ricos Unified Plan is focused in unitying government, education and bussinesses with the goal to transform our workers with better skills, the needed experience and the strength of a progressive and responsive workforce in order to create sustainable and quality jobs that will lead to a better future.JOB DRIVEN NATIONAL DISLOCATED WORKER GRANT - Project Leader for the Puerto Rico Emergency Grant focused in servicing the Long Term Unemployed.PR ZIKA OUTBREAK RESPONSE PLAN - Secured over 6M in federal funds for the creation of over 500 temporary positions dedicated to manage the vector control and surveillance of the Zika Virus.- Compiled, studied, analyzed, created, wrote, designed, released and submitted the Emergency Grant Proposal to request National Dislocated Worker Grant from the US Department of Labor - Employment and Training Administration.Grant integrated key players from the Government of Puerto Rico under one application. Players include the Department of Economic Development and Commerce, PR Department of Health, PR Department of Labor, Labor Development Program, PR Emergency Management Agency, Environmental Quality Board, PR Department of Agriculture, Municipalities and the Governors Office. Orchestrated the deployment of the Response Plan with the support and guidance from the Center for Disease Control, FEMA, US Human and Health Services and the Unified Coordination Group (appointed by White House to support Puerto Rico in the integration of services which respond to the Zika Virus Outbreak).Led the deployment of the Response Plan and writing the Grant Full Application for phases 2 and 3 which represent over 1000 new jobs.
