I love transformation. I love helping people be their BEST selves. I love positively impacting business through people development.I started out my career working in sales for Fortune 500 companies, and although successful, my corporate legacy was “developing others into superstars”. I had a passion for training new hires, developing train-the-trainers programs, mentoring, and coaching others to success, all while hitting my own sales targets. Their success was my success. Although this was only a corporate "side-hustle", it was the basis of the business I created in 2005, UPwords Inc.One day early on, while working with a client who was having a major aha, I had an out-of-body experience. My outside-myself SELF wanted to pinch me, because although I loved my sales teams, trips, and trophies, THIS was so much more fulfilling! I’ve been hooked on development (speaking, coaching, programs, workshops) ever since!!Today, 15+ years later, my growth and the growth and development of my clients continues to evolve. Because I draw on many aspects of business, client experiences, and LIFE, while resourcing whatever tools or methodologies necessary to help the client shift, I’m called "unconventional". It doesn't matter to me, as long as the process is effective, transformation occurs, and WHOLE LEADERS™️ are the result. Two years ago, while planning a website refresh, my marketing person challenged me to write an article about my theories, process, and principles—"a stake in the ground" so to speak.
