    I manage and administer the Financial Times Board Director Programme, a programme of events for Non-Executive Directors or those wishing to become a Non-Executive Director, providing events, news, advice and job opportunities with a membership of nearly 3,000 members.     I administered and managed the Grassroots Grants fund for Devon, Plymouth and Torbay - a £1.5 million fund aimed at providing grants of less than £5000 to local community groups and small charities. I processed over 1000 applications, of which 648 organisations were successful in securing a grant.I also administered and managed grant funds in Devon, Plymouth and Torbay for Comic Relief, Comic Relief Community Cash, Sport Relief, Exeter Positive Steps, the Police Property Fund, the Devonian Fund, the Torbay Targetted Relief Fund; and Small Grants for the Clare Milne Trust, Keepmoat, Devon Ripple, May Gurney, the Mildmay White Fund, the North Devon Relief Fund, and the Rural Fund. I provided all administrative duties relating to grants management, administration, processing & assessment. I organised and attended regular Grant Panel meetings, as well as implemented the use of Decide, an online Grant Panel system which enabled Panel members to read and assess grant applications online, discuss them with other Panel members, ask questions and unltimately make grant application recommendations and decision, without having to have face-to-face panel meetings, which was problematic in such a large county. Decide increased Panel participation as it enabled greater access and ultimately meant better grants were made.I organised and attended events including Volunteer of the Year 2009 & 2010; The Philanthropy Forecast 2010; Devon Funding Network 2011; North Devon Grassroots Challenge 2010; Torbay Grassroots Challenge and the Daredevil Challenge 2010.I maintained, sourced and wrote content for the Devon Community Foundation website, as well as increasing the Foundation's online presence through SEO with the in-house CRM website.I implemented the use of social media for the Foundation, through the creation, and extensive use, of Twitter and Facebook.
