Project Manager for Kansas City Sheeting and Shoring. These projects include permanent and temporary soil retention systems varying from soldier piles, tiebacks, soil nails, tangent piles, secant piles, shotcrete, earth improvements (compaction grouting), deep foundations systems including micropiles and underpinning.Duties include reviewing plans and scopes, estimating, coordination of materials, crews and equipment. Preparing submittals, weekly revenues and accruals, site specific safety safety plans, job hazard analysis (JHA), locates, monthly billings, approval of time cards and expense reports, compiling daily reports, weekly equipment utilization reports and various other responsibilities.

Managed shoring projects, responsible for quantity take-offs, cost compiling, estimating and finalizing bids. Interfaced with engineers, owners, geotechnical engineers, general contractors and suppliers. Prepared submittals for both private and public works. Coordinated purchasing and delivery of all materials to project site and managed crew scheduling. Represented McDowell Northwest at preconstruction meetings. Compiled and provided documentation for each project to the crew and discussed site specific safety concerns, material delivery schedules, grout orders, locates, equipment / welding and scheduling requirements and specifications. Interpreted geo technical reports to determine drilling conditions and equipment requirements. Reported directly to to the President/ Owner re: projects in pipeline to discuss award status, prospective projects and current revenues.
