Primary Responsibilities Included:- Performing web-based research and research in the Library of Congress on a range of topics, including judicial independence, presidential and judicial leadership, and court technology management;- Reviewing, editing, and writing original prose for professional publications of senior staff members;- Assisting in the administrative and instructional details associated with the center's Leadership Development Program for Federal Probation and Pretrial Services Officers;- Preparing a publication of annotated Probation and Pretrial Services Leadership Development participant reports (in-district projects) for use at a national Leadership Development Seminar;- Developing and enhancing Power Point presentations for use by senior staff in presentations to foreign judicial officers and court executives;- Reviewing leadership books and preparing/editing book reviews for our "Book Review for Court Leaders" website;- Proofreading and editing instructional materials, and presentations for judicial audiences.
