* Developing a brand new type of High School in Denmark, EUXWhen I joined the team in 2013, nobody in Denmark knew what EUX was, and there was less than 500 students across the whole of Denmark. Today there are thousands of students starting every year and most people know EUX. After I joined the team, I developed a brand-new curriculum using the principles of instructional design. I made creative learner-centered training modules based on the theories of blended classroom learning. On top of that I designed my teaching materials with multiple modalities in mind. These included remote learning, e-learning, practical hands-on exercises, and other more standardised teaching methods.* Teaching in generalI have taught more than 500 students. Of those, approx. 130 students finished with an oral exams with extern censor (The rest finished without). More than 96% of the students passed their exams and the average grades have always been above the national average. In 2016 I became a certified high school teacher in Physics and Technology, which entails an one year theoretical and practical education, with local and national supervisors.* Coordination and teamworkIn 2015 became meeting coordinator and team coordinator for the senior classes. Later in 2016 I was promoted to pedagogical coordinator for the whole EUX. I planned the schedules and exams for more than 14 classes and 20 teachers located on up to three addresses at the same time. On top of that I took part in writing the formal documentation of both single courses and the whole education to ensure best practices standardisation. I was super-user of our internal IT-programs and helped training new colleagues and students in using them.

Co-author of two high school physics books. I have written about anything from electrostatics, light, sand, waves, mechanics, and technological applications, to the scientific method and how to investigate and analyse data. I also developed a series of hands-on, learner-centered projects to accompany the books with focus on interactive e-learning in Moodle.

I worked on designing and building a lymph fluid preparation chip. On top of that I supervised a number of students with regards to fabrication of microfluidic filters in the clean room and injection of hydrogels into microfluidic chips as a part of a proof of concept research project.

Development of a lymph preparation chip

After building a solid foundation in physics and biophysics I finished my post-graduate studies with designing a label free flow cytometer. The process included every step from design and testing the cytometer in theory to fabricating and testing it in real life. In the end I proved that my sensor could detect the viability of cancer cells suspended in saline fluid, without have to label the cells.

As an intern I handled incoming calls and emails on a weekly basis. I evaluated the contacts and distributed them to right people (such as researchers, project managers or external organisations). I also managed the content of our webpage and was the driving force of setting up our initial Google Adwords account. Finally I was the super user of a custom developed software used to manage courses offered to external professionals.
