* Plan, organize, assign, supervise, and review the work of assigned staff involved in dispatch activities.* Train staff in work and safety procedures and in the operation and use of equipment and supplies; implement procedures and standards.* Organize and assign work, set priorities, and follow up to ensure coordination and completion of assigned work.* Evaluate operations and activities of assigned responsibilities; recommend improvements and modifications; prepare various reports on operations and activities.* Supervise dispatchers to maintain proper protocol for the Department.* Use knowledge of CAD software systems and logistics to guide emergency medical units to locations, acting as first point of contact for EMT’s/Paramedics and patients/clients. * Balance dispatch logistics and communication operations while answering emergent client inquiries and requests over live radio and the phone. * Ensure accurate Medicaid/Medicare insurance verification processes.* Adhere to HIPPA Compliance.
