As Massachusetts’ first Executive Director of the Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Lawyer Well-Being, my mission is to help all Massachusetts lawyers attain greater success in achieving a healthy, positive, and productive balance of work, personal life, and health. I am an avid speaker on topics ranging from attorney well-being, time management, productivity, and legal technology, and an author of numerous articles and a book published by the American Bar Association's Law Practice Management Division, "Evernote as a Law Practice Tool". I am a 2021 Mass Lawyers Weekly Top Women of Law honoree and 2022 recipient of the Kevin Larkin Memorial Award for Public Service from the Mass LGBTQ Bar Association.I was the former Deputy Director of a nonprofit lawyer assistance program that provides mental health support, addiction support, and practice management services; founded a web consulting business; owned a solo law practice; practiced employment law and litigation; clerked for a justice on the New Jersey Supreme Court; and worked for a nonprofit women's business assistance center. I am a native of Minnesota and graduate of Amherst College and Rutgers School of Law. I volunteer for and am passionate about a variety of causes (with emphasis on gender equity) and have served on nonprofit boards of directors.
