In this role I was involved in managing the smooth running of the financial operations of Sisters & Co and related entities. This included analysis, strategy, monitoring, ongoing support and development across various vertical divisions. I was responsible for the financial management and reporting as well as the development and monitoring of key systems and processes. The day to day financial and management accounting tasks, IRD compliance, payroll, HR and various operational duties were my responsibility as well as the task of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual management reports were produce, analysed and interpreted for the director. This role also included cash-flow planning, budgeting and forecasting as well as setting various strategic budgets and ratios to provide the best platform for future business success.I enjoyed the challenge, engagement and impact of this role immensely.

I started this business as a one-woman band and grew it to a healthy team of 3 with a fantastic reputation locally and NZ wide for offering superb bookkeeping, payroll, Xero and Xero Add-On Setup, Training & Support. During this time I also co-founded the Tauranga Cloud Expo (www.taurangacloud.com) - an annual event giving Bay of Plenty business owners the chance to interact with NZs best cloud software companies and attend free educational workshops.I was awarded NZBAI Community Contributor the Year 2014 and had the opportunity to speak at Xerocon 2015 on the "Evolution of Bookkeeping in NZ"I represented Xero and WorkflowMax at many local events including the YellowPages BizExpo and Priority One Technology for Smarter Business ExpoDuring this time I worked with 100s of inspiring and wonderful clients and learnt a heck of a lot about myself and about business.
