I am an eclectic wife, mother of two very normal children, I run a life and coaching business that teaches structured intuition in all areas of life, and in my spare time I am the Executive Director of an international humanitarian organization that focuses on mentoring families in economic development in Kenya, Africa. In 2015 I became a best-selling author on a Tuesday when I launched my book Homeschool on Fire on Amazon. Turns out when you launch a book on a Tuesday in the homeschooling category, it’s a done deal for best-seller. One day in the summer of 2015, I heard a voice say, “Go start a group on Facebook called 100 Humanitarians (www.100humanitarians.org). I’ll let you know why.” Since then, life has been a faith walk for me, and every day a new adventure! By the end of 2019, I will have taken 196 people to Kenya, a place I couldn’t even find on the map a few years ago. My mission in life is to answer the question, “What is the power of 100 people working together on any project in the world to create positive change?” I have helped hundreds of entrepreneurs over the past 3 years. I run Heidi Totten Consulting (www.heiditotten.com) and The Eclectic Entrepreneurs (www.eclecticentrepreneurs.com) as a way to help the most people possible during my one crazy life. My happy place is hauling down roads in Kenya in dusty jeeps, but I am also known for my love of tacos, guacamole, and chocolate.

As a Managing Partner of a Technical Recruiting company headquartered in Orem, Utah, my responsibilities included all start up duties. This included creating and writing a business plan, the Articles of Organization, obtaining a business license, creating marketing and social media marketing funnels, working with a web designer to create a website and blog, and full life-cycle business development and recruiting. After the company was up and running, I stepped out as a partner in order to go back to an Independent Contributor role on a part time basis due to family responsibilities. Accomplishments include: building a candidate network from 15,000 resumes to 30,000 resumes in one year; building a marketing funnel of 2500 potential candidates interested in receiving new job opportunities weekly; creating vendor partnerships with clients in order to fulfill their recruiting and staffing needs; helped build a start-up recruiting company with very little capital in a depressed economy.
