As the Executive Director of 100 Humanitarians International, I've dedicated my life to ending global hunger by teaching families to grow their own food, ending global poverty by teaching families self-reliance, and taking people like you on epic humanitarian expeditions to Kenya, where you will experience connection and cultural immersion that you have only read about in books. In 2015 I became a best-selling author on a Tuesday when I launched my book Homeschool on Fire on Amazon. Turns out when you launch a book on a Tuesday in the homeschooling category, it’s a done deal for best-seller. One day in the summer of 2015, I heard a voice say, “Go start a group on Facebook called 100 Humanitarians (www.100humanitarians.org). I’ll let you know why.” Since then, life has been a faith walk for me, and every day a new adventure! By the end of 2019, I will have taken 196 people to Kenya, a place I couldn’t even find on the map a few years ago. My mission in life is to answer the question, “What is the power of 100 people working together on any project in the world to create positive change?” I have helped hundreds of entrepreneurs over the past 3 years. I run Heidi Totten Consulting (www.heiditotten.com) and The Eclectic Entrepreneurs (www.eclecticentrepreneurs.com) as a way to help the most people possible during my one crazy life.
