I have more than 20 years of experience in the field of management including non-profits, business education services and local food companies. I am entrepreneurial by nature but with a keen interest in program start-ups that address an issue or need. I develop programs that make an impact. After starting my career in Edmonton at Operation Friendship running their drop-in center for hard to house seniors in the inner city, I gained experience in various non profit roles such as setting up community development programs for immigrant groups, facilitating a Skills Link groups for youths and coordinating multicultural teams to perform research projects. I thrive in the non-profit environment and have used my project management skills to start-up or revive many different programs at non-profit agencies.
