I continued to maintain many of the systems I put in place as Development Director. While I had laid much of the groundwork as the Development Director, this new position allowed me to focus on building infrastructure once again, this time for a more general audience. Crafted agency’s first strategic communications plan. Oversaw re-branding via a thorough evaluation process which included staff, donor and non-donor surveys, focus groups, and working with outside consultants. Crafted agency's first Communications Plan. Wrote a successful $235,000 grant to Murdock to hire a new Director of Development.

Crafted and implemented agency’s first strategic fundraising plan to develop infrastructure; implemented donor relations plan including donor contact records, successful postal and email appeals, analysis of appeal results, donor newsletter, and agency welcome tour; facilitated agency capacity to accept credit card donations online and on site and to accept donations of stock; designed agency web site and email newsletter; assisted board and management staff in crafting and implementing agency strategic plan; participated in condensed major capital campaign for building renovations including multiple postal and email appeals, nine grant proposals, new facility tours, events, and site visits, helping raise over $800,000 in donations and grants in a ten month period.

Assisted in state and regional Family Finding trainings for Lighting the Fire of Urgency, Oregon and Washington; served on Oregon Commission on Children and Families Action Team for Reconnecting Children and Families.

Provided supervision for staff in multiple interrelated programs including Foster Family Recruitment and Support, Family Finding, and Independent Living; established positive community partnerships to coordinate services in multi-county and multi-state areas; designed and implemented cultural competency and HIPAA trainings and initiatives.
