Voor de afdeling Marktonderzoek ben ik verantwoordelijk voor de coördinatie, inhoudelijke aansturing, kwaliteitscontrole en methodologische doorontwikkeling. De werkzaamheden hebben veelal betrekking op regionale arbeidsmarktanalyses in opdracht van hoger onderwijsinstellingen. Voor Lexnova Overheidsadvies ben ik verantwoordelijk voor de opzet en uitvoering van adviestrajecten voor met name gemeenten (beleidsevaluatie en actualisatie) en waterschap.

Als projectleider onderzoek & advies houd ik mij bezig met een diversiteit aan onderzoek naar het marktpotentieel van nieuwe opleidingen, imago en positionering, en kwaliteitsmetingen binnen het onderwijs. Daarnaast voer ik rekenkameronderzoek en beleidsevaluaties uit en werk ik aan ondernemerschap of krimp gerelateerde advies -en onderzoeksopdrachten.Ik ben vanuit Lexnova 1 á 2 dagen per week beschikbaar voor detachering als onderzoeker, projectleider of beleidsadviseur.

Docent-onderzoeker bij de NHL Hogeschool, gebonden aan het lectoraat Persoonlijk Leiderschap & Innovatiekracht. Als docent richt ik mij op de onderzoeksvaardigheden van studenten, op curriculumontwikkeling en projecten op ondernemerschap. Als onderzoeker bij het lectoraat kijk ik vooral naar de impact van de culturele hoofdstad 2018 op werkgelegenheid en ondernemerschap in de regio.

Population decline is now a reality for most countries in the EU. Many regions are already experiencing decline, including the Netherlands. What does this new trend mean for our society and economy? What are the possible consequences and how will we deal with this? The thesis assesses the role of entrepreneurship in the social and economic resilience of regions that are characterized by population decline. Therefore, this thesis looks into the connection between population decline and the level and the form of entrepreneurship, in order to determine whether there is a causal relationship between these variables using quantitative research methods. The quantitative data analysis is complemented with in-depth case study research in the Netherlands and England by means of interviews and focus group discussions. The case studies provide a different, non economic insight into the role of entrepreneurship at the community level and the impact of decline and ageing on start-up motivation. Show less
