I have worked for family offices for around 10 years. Combining both finance and operations aspects is something I have shown throughout my career. Working in the investment industry has developed my reporting skills and well as my overall analytical thinking. I have held roles where I have had overall responsibility simultaneously for financial administration, reporting and investment functions. I have also been responsible for leading and developing investment processes in various asset classes. In addition to understanding the P&L and balance sheet, I am also capable of looking at the driving factors behind the numbers. Working in small companies has meant that being pro-active, flexible around my duties, being able to independently carry out multiple assignments simultaneously and being 100 % accountable for my work has been critical.
