I am currently holding two jobs, enrolled in school, and own a business.Working with a traditional style timber framing company has taught me the value of hard work and sustainable construction, while also making me painfully aware of how wasteful the construction industry can be. This experience is what motivated me to go back to school for environmental science.I have made it my personal mission to help research and design new building materials and energy sources that are fully sustainable and environmentally friendly.I plan to use the education I am currently receiving at Middlesex Community College, as well as the skills I have gained through my years in construction such as:-Solar energy, both passive and active-Problem solving and critical thinking-Conceptual design-Sourcing awareness- Zero waste cradle-to-grave ethics
