As the operational lead for Spark's solutions provided to Westpac, I oversaw all aspects of solution delivery, including leading technical teams through changes, problems, projects, and incidents across a range of complex technologies and solutions involving multiple inputs from various vendors.Collaborating closely with SDMs, sales teams, and project teams, I identified gaps and grey areas, and ensured they were resolved to deliver the best outcomes for the customer. I also reached into the wider business to understand roadmaps, future states, and impacts of work on the day-to-day operation of Spark customers.As the accountable party for network and security operations, I was accountable to a robust security framework that included access management, patching, bug scrubbing, vulnerability assessments, and firewalling. My team and I worked diligently to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and best practices, and maintained a strong focus on risk mitigation and incident response.Overall, I am proud of the work I did to ensure the success of Spark's solutions at Westpac.

My ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams was highlighted by my close partnership with a product development team and Bluecoat to design and implement a Bluecoat Cloud-based secure Internet browsing service.Overall, my time at Kordia was a highly rewarding experience, allowing me to apply my expertise in security operations and Cisco products while working alongside talented professionals.
