Liberty Life’s Talent Acquisition Centre was an initiative driven and dedicated to the identification, recruitment and training of new Financial Advisers for the company’s Agency Sales and Marketing Force. The concept was managers recruiting for managers - a change from past models where Branch Managers recruited and trained their own new internal staff.It involved running a very detailed, high volume and thorough 5 step recruitment process, specifically designed to select-out non-suitable candidates and focussed extensively on Psychometrics and Competency Based Interviewing. This process was identical to the Sales Cycle of the Finance Industry and continuous process metrics and data were generated from the volume of candidates taken through the process. The process was designed to recruit sales staff, provide them with core industry training and development, then hand these trained candidates to a designated Sales Manager to develop business in the field.
