I am a Meat Trade IT Specialist. My career started with Bull Brand Foods after I did my MCSE back in 1999. I joined Abaserve in 2000 and was responsible for installation and support in Southern Africa. My years with Abaserve taught me an exceptional skills, as I was involved with more than 30 new site implementations. Many of the implementations were at remote locations and sometimes with customers that had no computer experience.In 2002 I joined Overvaal Vleis, a small meat wholesaler that slaughtered in Bloemfontein, Colesberg and Burgersdorp. The head office was situated in Pretoria. During this time I was responsible for the IT system and slaughtering at the 3 abattoirs. I was situated in Bloemfontein and later moved to Burgersdorp. In 2004 I went back to Abaserve. During the next few years with Abaserve, the company was expanding rapidly. I moved to Kimberley in 2005 to be closer to my customers and was travelling around 100000 km annually at this stage. With all the travelling I had no personal life, fortunately I was offered a position at Just Lamb in end of 2006.I moved back to Pretoria in 2007 and started with my careers as IT Manager at Just Lamb. Just Lamb’s name was changed in 2012 to Cavalier Foods, which is part of the Cavalier Group Of Companies where I am responsible for all IT duties.Specialties: Meat Trade IT Specialist
