• Formulate designs for electricity infrastructure projects.• Conduct field investigations; take measurements and record information using surveying equipment. Use technology to accurately survey projects and import survey data into GIS systems • Use CAD programs to produce detailed construction drawings• Taking into account the requirement of all stakeholders and ensure all aspects of the design comply with internal standards and procedures as well as relevant Australian Standards including AS7000 • Use estimation software to produce detailed estimates for each project• Liaise and negotiate with external stakeholders including councils, landholders, determining authorities and contractors• Liaise and negotiate with internal stakeholders including planning, construction staff, standards, and work scheduling staff• Manage procurement and contract process ensuring compliance with Environmental and OH&S legislation • Conduct a detailed Environmental assessment for every project. Design mitigation strategies for identified risks and obtain environmental approvals from relevant authorities

• Attend and rectify faults on high and low voltage electricity infrastructure including being on call • Perform switching operations on the high voltage network under fault conditions and for planned outages • Perform Power quality investigations• Rectify customer complaints and perform energy audits• Perform overhead and underground service connection work, including metering installations for new premises, and liaising with electrical contractors • Disconnections and reconnections of supply
