In September 2013 we began offering a new BArch program (the only one in the SUNY system) in addition to associate and B.S. programs in architectural technology and an associate degree in interior design. I worked on numerous academic, civic, residential and religious projects, including the design of an award-winning performing arts complex for Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA

I was senior designer and one of several project architects on the 'Ritz Carlton on the Boston Common' multi-use complex, and prior to that on 'Trinity Place at Copley Square,' both in Boston, MA.

I worked on the restoration of the McKim, Mead, and White Building of the Boston Public Library and prior to that on a new Pediatrics Wing of Children's Hospital in Boston as well as a feasibility study for moving Harvard's Center for European Studies into the former Busch Reisinger Museum. My stay with SBRA was interrupted twice, for an academic year of teaching at Harvard's GSD, and a year in residence at the American Academy in Rome while my wife held the Rome Prize in 1986/87.
