Worked with my wife to pursue the development of a new, boutique (66 site) campground in Northern Michigan. After almost a year of predevelopment efforts, including multiple revisions to the plan, our special land use permit was denied by the local planning commission, ultimately killing the deal (crazy story!). We learned a lot through the process and hope to get another shot at bringing this dream to life at some point down the road.
