In my role as a Management Assistant, I was responsible for a wide range of sales and management functions. On average, I would write 10-15 rental contracts per day. Through premiumization and contract sales, I was able to produce over $45,000 in attributable revenue while assisting customers through the rental process. Taking part in a B2B sales and marketing plan was also crucial. I was able to prospect for new business among body shops, dealerships, and insurance agents while also working to strengthen relationships with established business partners. A key aspect of assisting in management responsibilities included performing logistics and inventory tactics to ensure top fleet utilization while also meeting deadlines for scheduled appointments. I was responsible for back-end contract management as well. This included processing payments, notifying customers of changes, and tracking vehicle maintenance intervals. Throughout my role as a Management Assistant, I found a passion for employee training and development. I found a great deal of enjoyment in training over 10 newly hired employees on sales processes, ethics, and day-to-day operations of the business.

My role as a Management Trainee started at an impact branch. This was fortunate because the volume of daily rental contracts was significantly higher than some branches around the area. The pace of the business was very fast, and this gave me the opportunity to learn at a quick pace. I perfected the rental process in a short span of time, and learned how important efficiency and effectiveness were for a successful customer service experience. This played a role in collaborating with my team members to achieve and maintain a service quality index score of 93% over my first six months in this role. As a management trainee I was also able to produce over $30,000 in attributable revenue through contract sales and premiumization. Another key aspect of this position was taking the steps toward a promotion. Upon being qualified for a promotion, I was required to have a certain performance in sales metrics, and I created three projects about leadership, marketing, and community service. Upon completion of all the proper steps, I was able to pass a management qualification test and interview with a score above 90% in all categories.

During my time as a sales and management intern with Sherwin Williams, I was able to learn a great deal about selling tangible products with multiple applications and functions. During the summer I was able to produce over $50,000 in attributable revenue by selling paint products and contractor's equipment B2B and B2C. Product knowledge was extremely important because business partners often relied on us to know which products should be used for different applications. Informing on color, use case and quality was key for helping partners complete successful and lasting contracts. Another responsibility that I took on was warehouse management. The location that I was at had a 15,000 square foot warehouse where products were stored. Shipments of new products were brought in at different times on a weekly basis, so organization and logistical efficiency were very important to keep things running smoothly.

Illinois State Univeristy

As the Alumni Relations Chairman at the Illinois State chapter of Acacia I maintained relationships with alumnus members on a daily basis and shared new ideas to promote alumni engagement. This role also involved creating newsletters to inform alumnus members of chapter activity, event planning and advertising of chapter fundraisers and philanthropy events.
