As a seasoned IT manager, was entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing a team of IT professionals, catering to the technological needs of five distinct locations across Oregon, Washington, and California, in addition to numerous remote sales offices nationwide. My responsibilities encompassed a broad spectrum of tasks, including but not limited to, managing the IT budget, planning and designing infrastructure, fostering vendor relations, maintaining contracts, formulating IT policies and procedures, overseeing IT procurement, and managing software licensing.I also spearheaded the IT Steering Committee, a group comprised of all executive leaders, tasked with directing all IT initiatives to ensure alignment with the company’s business needs. Since my tenure began, I had successfully negotiated new contracts with our service providers, conducted comprehensive software audits to ensure licensing compliance, and reengineered our technology infrastructure.To revamp our infrastructure, my team and I seamlessly integrated onsite and cloud solutions, virtualizing over 98% of our server infrastructure. This strategic move resulted in cost reduction, improved reliability, and expedited disaster recovery times. We paired this with Barracuda backups for offsite backup and recovery, ensuring our data is geographically dispersed and secure.We also implemented new policies and procedures to fortify our infrastructure and provide consistency in IT operations. A new ITIL compliant service desk and asset management system was put in place, offering clear visibility into IT operations and facilitating efficient asset management. This holistic approach to IT management underscores our commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Managed a team of IT professionals supporting the technology needs of 500+ users in 9 locations in Oregon. Responsibilities included managing vender relations, maintenance contracts and software licensing. I also played a supporting role in managing the IT Budget. Together my team and I migrated 500+ users from on premise Exchange 2007 to the Office 365 SaaS solution. In addition, my team and I constructed an enterprise-class virtualized web infrastructure capable of supporting the demands of nearly 80,000 users per day.

Paramount Graphics was purchased by the financial body that owned Ivey Performance Marketing. I was responsible for managing the technology needs of both Paramount Graphics and Ivey Performance Marketing during this time. I was brought in to connect the two companies together and then analyze and manage the current IT infrastructure. I had one system administrator working for me at Paramount Graphics.

Worked with a team of administrators to support 4 locations in Oregon and Washington. Together we support all Servers, Workstation, Telco and the Network. During this time, I grew my career from helpdesk technician supporting workstation to a Sr. System Administrator responsible for maintaining our Network infrastructure and Servers.
